Don’t forget to set up your AirTag before departure

Do you put an Apple AirTag in your suitcase when you go on vacation? Then you can always see where the suitcase is, provided you have set the tracker in advance. Linking an AirTag to your iPhone or iPad is done in no time. As soon as you have removed the plastic foil around the AirTag, you will automatically receive a notification to connect the tracker. You must have Bluetooth enabled on your device.

It is wise to give your AirTag a clear name, especially if you own several AirTags. This way you know exactly which object it is when you look in the Find My app. After connecting, you can choose which object you want to attach the AirTag to. Examples include luggage, camera, handbag, backpack and keys. But of course you can also choose your own objects.

AirTag also comes in handy when you’re not on vacation

An AirTag is of course super handy to track your luggage on vacation, but it doesn’t stop there. You can of course also put the AirTag in your bag or hang it on your keyring after your holiday. Smart when you go out for a day. Do you lose your keys on the way? Then you will soon receive a notification that you have left them.

In addition, it is also possible to put an AirTag in your bike. This way you always know where your two-wheeler is if you have lost it or if someone has stolen your bicycle.
