“Now a classic!”: New Netflix film inspires critics

Netflix films don’t exactly have the best reputation among film and series fans. With Nimona, however, the streaming giant has obviously produced a real ray of hope. The animated film is currently being praised to the skies by critics.

Netflix Movie Nimona Gets Perfect Critics Score

Netflix is ​​a real content machine and continuously produces new films and series. These include blockbusters worth millions such as Red Notice, The Gray Man or 6 Underground. In the international trade press, these expensive star vehicles go swimming with good regularity.

A real bright spot, however, is Nimona. The animated film will be released on Netflix on June 30, 2023 and currently holds an impressive 100 percent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The score is currently based on only eight reviews, but the trend is clear: Nimona is a real critics darling.

By the way, behind Nimona the directors of Spies Undercover (Spies in Disguise). The animated spy comedy starring Will Smith and Tom Holland was released in 2019. The film may not have been a commercial success, but it was still pretty well received by press and audiences alike – see Rotten Tomatoes.
