- Xiaomi rolls out April update
We start with Xiaomi. Marco informs DroidApp that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro will be offered the latest security update from April. Looking at the changelog we see no further adjustments, changes or new functions. Despite that, it is a major update. The update with version number 13.0.8.0 has a size of 585MB. Xiaomi also supplies the previous patches distributed by Google with the April update. The previous update was the update to Android 12 with MIUI 13.
Nokia
At Nokia we also see the necessary updates appearing. The Nokia T20 tablet already received the March update this week. The March 2022 security update is now available for the Nokia X20 and the Nokia X10. Both models will be rolled out (phased) from now on. It may take a while until everyone sees the update on their smartphone.
For the Nokia 3.2, HMD Global is a bit more up to date; that device will be offered the April 2022 security update, the latest Android patch; a small update of less than 10MB. Less up to date is the Nokia 7.2. This device will receive a new Android 11 build, along with a February 2022 security update. Nokia does promise improved system stability and interface improvements. The update is approximately 75MB.
