Nokia Streaming Stick 800 is a competitor for Chromecast: you can do this with it

Nokia isn’t just for phones. Other products also come from the Finns’ factory. Now we are introduced to the Nokia Streaming Stick 800, as a competitor to the Chromecast.

Nokia Streaming Stick 800

We can expect a new gadget from Nokia. It is an alternative to the Chromecast as we know it from Google. The stick runs on Android TV and comes with a remote control. Via the remote control you have quick access to, for example, the Google Assistant, Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime and Disney+. You can also quickly navigate to the Play Store for installing apps. Interestingly, the buttons are backlit so you always know what to press.

The Nokia Streaming Stick 800 provides the images in Full-HD quality. You plug the device into the HDMI port of the television, after which the party can start. The price of the stick is about 60 euros, although it is still unclear whether it will also come to the Netherlands. Incidentally, the stick does not come from the factory of Nokia itself. The StreamView company has the license to carry products such as streaming products.
