Nokia C21 Plus and Nokia C2 2E with removable battery announced
HMD Global has taken the curtain off two new Nokia smartphones. It concerns affordable devices that are positioned in the C-series. Meet the Nokia C21 Plus and the Nokia C2 2E.

Android Go is a modified version of Android, where the software is adapted to devices with less powerful hardware. HMD Global has expanded Nokia’s range with two of these devices, which will be released in the C-series. This series was previously not available in the Netherlands and Belgium, but that will now change with this announcement.
Nokia C21 Plus
The Nokia C21 Plus is designed with durability, quality and design in mind, according to the manufacturer. This also includes an affordable price, according to Nokia. The phone comes with a 4000 mAh battery, a 6.5 inch HD+ screen and an IP52 rating. The phone has a dual-camera on the back with a 13-megapixel main lens. Nokia is rolling out quarterly security updates for the Nokia C21 Plus for two years. Nothing is said about version updates. Both phones have Android 11 Go as their current OS.
Nokia gives the Nokia C21 Plus a UniSoc octa-core processor and also brings a Micro-USB connection. At the back, this device offers a fingerprint scanner.
Nokia C2 2E
A remarkable name, Nokia C2 2E. 2E stands for the second edition, or generation. Nokia is also a bit frugal with the specifications and details with this smartphone. We know that the Nokia C2 2E will have a 5.7 inch FWVGA display. In addition, security updates are released for a period of two years that will appear ‘regularly’. The Nokia C2 2E gets a quad-core MediaTek chipset and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. The front camera of the phone has 2 megapixels, and also gets a flash. The smartphone has a Micro-USB connection and a battery capacity of 2400 mAh. This battery is interchangeable.
Availability
The Nokia C21 Plus will be available in May in the colors Dark Cyan, Warm Gray and will be available in stores with 2/32GB for 119 euros. The Nokia C2 2E appears in the same period, also comes with 2/32GB in gray and blue, but for 99 euros.
