Aldi Süd is currently testing two new cash register systems that should make shopping noticeably easier. The focus here is on an intelligent shopping cart that is equipped with cameras. So we no longer have to stand in line at the discounter.

In a branch of Aldi Süd in Mülheim now comes a smart shopping cart for use. These come from an Israeli start-up and are equipped with both a display and two cameras. Customers place the desired article in the trolley as usual. The cameras capture the goods and add them to the invoice.
