no Exynos in Samsung Galaxy S23 series

It seems increasingly likely that the devices from the Galaxy S23 series will not receive an Exynos chipset. Manufacturer Qualcomm is now opening a book about the processor in the high-end Samsung devices.

No Exynos in Galaxy S23

We will see the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series in a few months. Everything has come out about the new smartphone series. It is clear that we can expect a 200 megapixel camera with the Galaxy S23 Ultra, where the photo quality in the dark should be even better.

The latest report on the Samsung Galaxy S23 series comes from chip manufacturer Qualcomm. They state that the share of Snapdragon processors in the Galaxy S23 series will go up, compared to the S22 series. It is striking that Qualcomm is actually talking about the S23 models here. It is also interesting news, because Samsung usually releases the high-end models with both a Snapdragon and an Exynos chipset. However, this varies by region and in Europe we have to make do with the Exynos processor from Samsung itself.

The message has been going around for some time that Samsung wants to go completely for the Snapdragon processor with the Galaxy S23 series, but there was no confirmation. Qualcomm now states that a new agreement has been signed with Samsung and that the use of Snapdragon SoCs for future expensive Galaxy products will be expanded around the world.

The Exynos chipset is not always positive in the news. For example, it regularly leaves points in the field of speed and efficiency and there are also regular differences in the battery life, to the disadvantage of the Exynos processor. It is not yet known when we will see the Galaxy S23 models. This is probably January or February, although there are also rumors about December 23.
