Samus Aran is back. In a new Nintendo Direct, a remaster for the Gamecube classic Metroid Prime announced. The first part of the trilogy still enjoys great popularity among fans. Luckily, they don’t have to wait long for their return on the Switch. Nintendo has released the digital version of the shooter without further ado.

Metroid Prime Remastered is available now on Nintendo eShop. The price is 40 euros. A physical version of the game is also said to be coming. However, fans will have to wait until March 3rd (source: Nintendo).

Still silence on Metroid Prime 4

Revamped features of the remaster include nicer graphics, improved sound and new control options. However, it is up to you whether you want to use the new double-stick controls or guide Samus through the alien planet in the same way as he did on the Gamecube.
