Where one parent helps with Christmas breakfast and the other quickly puts together a Christmas piece, Nick Schilder takes a different tack: he climbed on stage with daughter Jackie (5). And that produces beautiful images.
“Fortunately, the first performance of my new career went well,” jokes Nick in a video of the Christmas performance.

The duo performance was an idea of his 5-year-old daughter. “Jackie came very recently with the announcement that I would accompany her on guitar during the Christmas show at school,” writes the proud father. There was one small detail though. ‘With the friendly request if I didn’t want to sing along.’ And although Jackie takes on most of ‘Merry Christmas’, Nick can’t resist singing a little note. Well, you’re Nick Painter or you’re not, aren’t you?
