Next week, the full version of the Czech platformer ArtFormer -apkrig will be released

Developers from the Czech independent team Buffa Software have announced that their highly stylized platformer ArtFormer: Ancient Stories will be released in full next week after several years of development, specifically on Thursday, September 30th. As usual, of course, the announcement was accompanied by a new video. This artistically original project attracts us to the story, RPG elements and four different chapters, each of which comes with its own unique hero, different aesthetics and playability.

At the same time, ancient art inspired by prehistoric cave paintings, ancient Egypt and papyrus, Greece and its ceramics, and Rome and its mosaics come to life on the screen in front of the player. We have to fight with various weapons and hunt wild animals. The game will offer over a hundred quests and a number of dialogues with the characters you come across during your pilgrimage. But in addition to fighting, we can also avoid danger by sneaking, and of course we must explore the worlds we visit.

But it is far from just about jumping and action. Developers also promise logical puzzles and interesting mini-games. The game sells for 15 euros and if you can’t wait for it, you don’t have to wait until next week. Already in November 2019, an early access version was released, which you can find on Steam, so you can embark on a historical adventure in advance. The price is and will remain the same even after leaving early access.
