New update of OnePlus 7 (Pro) finally leaves call screen

There is a new update for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro that makes the bug where you had to wait a long time for the call screen is a thing of the past. If you download Oxygen OS 11.0.4.1, you also get other security patches and improvements to the stability of the device.

call problem

The OnePlus smartphones date back to May 2019, but are still being provided with updates. The biggest benefit of this update is that it fixes an issue with the call screen. If you were called, your phone would already ring, but before the call actually appeared on your screen, it took a while. An annoying problem, especially if you don’t want to answer everyone’s call.

Now that’s resolved. The update is now rolling out to all OnePlus 7s and OnePlus 7 Pros. If you want to know if it’s your turn yet, go to Settings > System > System updates. The previous update was dated August 30 and included the Bitmoji always-on display capability and the ability to take screenshots of your always-on display.

OnePlus 7 Pro

We thought OnePlus 7 Pro was a good device at the time. In our review we wrote: “The high-end specifications just don’t come into its own in terms of battery life and camera quality and those are exactly the points where the competition scores better. All in all, the OnePlus 7 Pro is one of the best phones of this year with an attractive price-quality ratio, although that ratio is no longer as attractive as previous years. If the battery and camera had scored more points, the OnePlus 7 Pro would certainly have been a flagship killer.”

OnePlus itself is already with the OnePlus 9 (Pro) and now and then rumors seep in about successors OnePlus 10 (Pro).
