Only ten seconds should be enough, then the teeth are shiny again: That’s what a French manufacturer promises with the Y-Brush, which has just been presented in the third generation. There’s even an intense turbo mode if ten seconds is just too long.

Y-Brush: Clean teeth after ten seconds?

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2023 in Las Vegas, not only the heavyweights of the tech industry can be found, but also comparatively small manufacturers like Y-Brush. The French company has seized the opportunity to third generation of its electric toothbrush to introduce. Ten seconds should be enough for brushing your teeth – without any disadvantage, the manufacturer claims.

The electric toothbrush has a special Y-shape. In this way, the more inaccessible areas of the jaw should also be reached. All teeth of the upper or lower jaw are cleaned. According to Y-Brush, the toothbrush can even do that remove more plaque than a conventional model. 35,000 nylon bristles take care of teeth in ten seconds. The bristles are positioned at a 45 degree angle to the teeth. The gums should also be protected during cleaning.

As if ten seconds wasn’t fast enough, the third generation of the Y-Brush offers one too Turbo mode with particularly high intensity on. This mode finishes cleaning your teeth in just five seconds. Alternatively, the teeth can also be brushed in 15 seconds with less intensity.

The new Y-Brush can for 129.99 euros can be purchased in the manufacturer’s online shop (source: Y brush). Another attachment costs 34.99 euros, and the manufacturer recommends changing it every six months. If required, attachments can also be ordered as a subscription.
