There are numerous consoles for us humans, cats often play with tablets or monitors, why shouldn’t dogs have something else to play with than balls or bones? That’s what the company Joipaw thought and presents a corresponding device.
Console for dogs: on your nose, get set, go!
The start-up company Joipaw has set itself the task of doing something good for man’s best friend. The founders Dersim Advar and Marco Jenny describe themselves as animal lovers, gamers and scientists – the perfect conditions (source: Joipaw).
They present one console, which is specially tailored to four-legged friends. It arose from the idea of relieving boredom and separation anxiety in dogs when they are home alone. Joipaw also claims that the console could delay the onset of dementia in dogs, among other things. But how does it all actually work?
The dogs use their noses to touch screen to use the console. There are various games on it and if they are mastered, there is a reward from the integrated treat dispenser.
In addition to recreational activities for dogs, the owners should use a console that matches trackers security are provided. The device is intended to provide early warning “when abnormal behavior is detected and our goal is to share this data with your veterinarian to enable a better diagnosis before any potential complications arise,” the company says.

When will the console appear?
