Proton is a service that is known for privacy for your mail, calendar and other services. In addition to a new corporate identity, the company has shared new subscriptions and rates.

Proton with new subscriptions

Proton changes the subscriptions for its services. It concerns changed subscriptions for the e-mail service Proton Mail, the cloud storage, the VPN service and the calendar. The Proton Unlimited subscription is new. This will cost you ten bucks a month. For those 9.99 euros you get 500GB of cloud storage; intended for your mail and the cloud storage Proton Drive itself. With the Unlimited subscription you also get access to the Proton VPN service.

The free subscription also remains. Instead of 500MB of storage, you will now get 1GB of space for it. However, the other restrictions still apply; up to 150 messages per day and access with one email address. Proton also offers the Mail Plus plan; equipped with 15GB storage space, access with multiple email addresses and the use of Proton Calendar, the new calendar service from the Swiss company. This subscription costs 3.99 euros per month.

Finally, Proton has implemented a new house style. Proton says that the price will not change for current customers.
