New series on Netflix is frighteningly good
There’s a new series on Netflix and it’s pretty scary, but also very good. The series hits the top ten!
We’ve been spoiled lately with all kinds of good series on Netflix. Think Undercover or The Witcher. But this new series is going to be more successful in terms of ratings. Many people watch it on the edge of their seats, because it is an exciting series.
Netflix series frightening
It’s not a horror series, but it hangs against it. So consider carefully whether you are going to watch this series in the evening. We’re talking Archive 81 here and it now has a score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics are enthusiastic and glued to the tube.
The series follows restoration expert Dan Turner, played by Mamoudou Athie. He is offered a job by a rich man named Virgil Davenport. This character is played by Martin Donovan. He is soon given the task of restoring a collection of damaged video cassettes from the 1990s. But Dan can only do this in Virgil’s isolated compound because the tires are so fragile. That’s what the story is about, as it turns out the tapes contain footage of creator Melody Pendras and her investigation into a dangerous cult. Naturally, Dan becomes captivated by the story and becomes so obsessed with the visuals that he is convinced he can save Melody. We will not reveal more.
Season
The entire season is on Netflix. We are talking about eight episodes here. The Dutch are full of praise for the series. In our country it is therefore in place 2 of most watched series of the moment. This leaves Undercover (place 4) and The Witcher (place 8) behind.
