New security update for Samsung Galaxy A42, Note 9, A8 and Tab S6

Four devices are now being updated with a new update by Samsung. Not only the tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 will receive an update, the A42, A8 and Note 9 are also present. We list all the details for you.

It’s been a busy week with updates. Several brands have prepared a new update for their devices. Samsung is also busy. A new patch is being rolled out for four of the brand’s devices. Jan informs us that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 will be updated with a security update in November 2021. It is a significant update with a size of 1.2GB. Samsung also promises that the stability of the update will be addressed. Updates are also available for other Samsung devices.

Dennis reports that the November update is also ready for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. As far as we know, no major changes will be made. The 2018 Galaxy A8 will also receive the November update and the manufacturer will roll out the October patch for the Galaxy A42, along with support for RAM Plus, where the working memory can be expanded by software. This function can be found in the device maintenance memory settings.
