New Rolex GMT Master II combines green with black
Rolex surprised this week by announcing a remarkable variant of the GMT Master II.
It’s not a black bezel, it’s not a green bezel. It is a green-black bezel in the case of the Rolex GMT-Master II. The Swiss luxury brand also has a number of announcements this week. This Master is the most remarkable of all.
This Rolex model has already gone through all kinds of variants. Well-known combinations are, for example, red and blue with the nickname Pepsi. Or completely in green with the nickname Sprite. It remains to be seen what nickname they will come up with for this new Master. What is typical green and black? I would not know.
In any case, the 40 mm watch is an attention grabber. Ultimately it is personal or also charmed by the design. The retail price is just over 10,000 euros for the green and black Rolex GMT-Master II.
But that is if you are lucky enough to be able to buy one from the dealer. Often these types of watches are offered on the gray market for much higher amounts.
The full name of this model is Oyster Perpetual GMT Master II. The mechanism has a reserve of 70 hours. Rolex immediately put the new Master on the market and is therefore available from now on.
