New phones and tablets for Europe
The Pro versions are already there, now the Chinese manufacturer Realme is launching the Realme 9 and Realme 9 5G phones, which are very different. The Realme Pad Mini with an 8.7-inch display also appears in Europe.
Realme: New phones and a tablet for Europe
After the Realme 9 Pro (Plus), the Chinese manufacturer still has two versions of the standard variant for Europe announced. In addition to the 4G cell phone Realme 9, the Realme 9 5G is also making its way to Germany. Despite the very similar name, the two smartphones differ significantly from each other.
At the Realme 9 without 5G module the manufacturer has opted for an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.4 inches. The Snapdragon 680 is used as the processor, which is supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It is still unclear whether both variants will also be made available in Germany.
The phone’s main camera can Images up to 108MP create, plus two more lenses (8 MP ultra wide angle and 2 MP macro camera). There is a 16 MP selfie camera on the front. The battery is 5,000 mAh and, according to Realme, can be fully charged in 75 minutes.
Realme 9 5G: Weaker, but with 5G
That LC display of the Realme 9 5G is slightly larger at 6.5 inches. Instead of a Snapdragon processor, a Dimensity 810 from MediaTek is installed. Depending on the model, 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage are available. The battery offers 5,000 mAh and can be charged with 18 watts.
When it comes to the main camera of the phone, Realme has opted for one Wide angle (48 MP) decided. There is also a macro lens and a depth sensor (2 MP each). Selfies are possible with 16 MP.

Realme Pad Mini: New entry-level tablet
The Realme Pad Mini offers an LC display with a diagonal of 8.7 inches. The Unisoc Tiger T616 processor makes it clear that this is an entry-level tablet. It is supported by 3 or 4 GB of RAM and a fixed memory of 32 GB or 64 GB.
The battery allows reverse charging and comes on a 6,400mAh capacity. It is supplied with 18 watts via USB-C. The larger variant of the tablet, the Realme Pad, offers 7,100 mAh. You will soon find out more about this from us, because we are currently testing the tablet.
Realme will be the two phones and the small tablet on May 12, 2022 officially present for Europe. Details on the prices are not yet known.
