‘New Motorola X40 gets quad-curved screen’

A photo has surfaced of an unknown Motorola. It concerns the new Motorola X40, and we now get to see a first image of this smartphone. The device will have a screen that continues on all four sides over the sides.

Motorola seems to come on the market with a new smartphone next year. In a teaser shared by IceUniverse, the Motorola X40 is mentioned. The brand would like to use a new design element. The phone will have a quad-curved display. This screen not only extends over the edge on the sides, but also on the top and bottom of the device; so on all four sides.

The photo appears to be from official promotional material. Motorola itself has not yet shared any information about the device. The new smartphone will be placed in the high-end segment, given that a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will be put in the device. Notably, the phone has also popped up in a TikTok video as you can see below. According to the FCC inspection body, the device would be marketed with 125W charging.
