iOS 16 beta 6: new features
The release of iOS 16 is slowly but surely getting closer, but Apple still regularly releases new beta versions of the iPhone operating system. We are now at beta 6 of iOS 16. Here you can read what’s new in the update this time!
Unfortunately, it seems that Apple has mostly put software updates and bug fixes in this update. Still, Apple has made a small change in beta 6 of iOS 16.
Battery percentage no longer always visible in Power Saving Mode
One of the biggest changes in beta 5 of iOS 16 was that you could see the battery percentage again in your iPhone’s status bar. With this you no longer have to open the control panel first to view the battery percentage.

You had the choice whether you wanted to turn on the battery percentage. Only when you turned on the energy-saving mode, the battery percentage was automatically turned on. You could not then turn off the battery percentage separately, until the power saving mode was turned off.
In iOS 16 beta 6, Apple has changed this feature. You can now turn the battery percentage on or off even when the power saving mode is on.

iOS 16 will of course be the major update of this year for iPhone and iPad. When looking at previous years, iOS 16 will be released in the second or third week of September.
