new Material You update is ready in Play Store

Earlier this month, the first Google Photos users received a new update for the app. Now the update is available to everyone in the Google Play Store, with users seeing a new Material You design in Google Photos.

We wrote it recently, and today proves it again; more and more Google apps are updated with the new design. The new design in question is the Material You theme. This new design is central as a new feature of Android 12 and makes the whole thing a bit more colorful. If your device does not yet run on Android 12, and that chance is quite high, you can also get all the new design styles of the next Android version. Recently, several Google apps have been updated with the new theme.

Next in line is Google Photos. This application was already given a new look by some users earlier this month. This new jacket is now available for every user. The update for the Google Photos Android app is available in the Google Play Store, bringing the known changes to the Material You theme. Think of the pill-shaped markings in the navigation bar and the search bar that is slightly different in shape.
