iPhone SE 2022: launch imminent?

This reports the Taiwanese DigiTimes. They have proven in the past that they are close to the Apple fire. The full message on DigiTimes has yet to appear – there is only a preview to read. But it says that Apple suppliers are preparing for the new iPhone SE. The first parts will be shipped soon.

There was more iPhone SE news this week. The highly reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple is planning an iPhone SE for both 2022 and 2023. The first is very similar to the current model and again has a 4.7-inch screen.

Renewals iPhone SE

The most important innovations of the iPhone SE 2022 are probably 5G support and a more powerful chip. Apple will probably put the A15 Bionic chip in it. This is the processor of iPhone 13 series and latest iPad mini.

If you’re looking forward to an iPhone SE with a new design, you’ll have to wait until spring 2023. According to Kuo, the fourth-generation iPhone SE will then appear, with more interesting improvements. For example, the device would get a larger screen, with a more modern design. Reportedly, it resembles the iPhone XR from 2018. Furthermore, the SE from 2023 would have more RAM: 4 GB.

release

It will probably only be a few months until the new iPhone SE 2022 comes out. Apple is expected to present the device in the spring – probably in March or April.

If you’re looking for a new iPhone and want the SE, it’s a good idea to wait a while. You will then get a better phone for about the same amount of money, because we expect Apple to change little in the price. The current iPhone SE costs 489 euros.
