Our recommendations for June
With “Ms. marvel” launches the new generation of superheroes in the big MCU. In June you can watch the series about teenage heroine Kamala Khan aka “Ms. Marvel” on Disney+ before she hits the big screen in 2023 in The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel. The entire Marvel series from Netflix will also be available on Disney+ from the end of June.
The sports biopic “RISE” deals with the extraordinary extraordinary Greek-Nigerian basketball family “Antetokounmpo”. 3 of the 5 sports-loving brothers made it into the NBA. Above all, however, is Giannis Antetokounmpo aka “Greek Freak”, who has been playing for the Milwaukee Bucks since 2014, is a multiple NBA All-Star and was already awarded the MVP award twice before he was 26 years old.
In 2014, the animated film Baymax, loosely based on the Marvel comic Big Hero 6, was released. This got a sequel as an animated series in 2017, which focused more on the stories of the superhero troupe. From June, the animation series “Baymax!” will follow, which puts the fluffy health companion in the foreground.
