New Doctor Strange 2 trailer packed with other heroes

There’s a new promo trailer for Doctor Strange 2 and there we see all kinds of other heroes starring in the film.

We already know that a Marvel film is not just about one superhero. Since 2010 (Iron Man 2), almost all Marvel films have a team of superheroes. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is no exception either.

Set after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the sequel will see Stephen Strange played by Benedict Cumberbatch battle through the many perils of the multiverse. That all of reality as we know it threatens to undo, thanks in part to some of the things that happen in a few TV shows. While Wong (Benedict Wong) will aid Strange in his efforts and can always be trusted, a problem like this will require more than two wizards.

We also see that in the promo. It serves as a showcase for the other superheroes. These have joined Doctor Strange. This includes Elizabeth Olson’s Scarlet Witch, who has gone into hiding after everything that happened in Westview during the events of WandaVision. But when Steven comes to ask for her insight into the multiverse, she can’t refuse his request for help. Especially not if it means a chance at reuniting with her children, Billy and Tommy. The last time we saw her, she seemed determined to do just that.

This new promo also offers a little bit more footage of Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Mordo. We know that he will turn Stephen over to someone for his various transgressions with the multiverse because he is a proponent of the rules. The film will hit Disney+ at the end of this year.
