Gmail gets new web version

The web version of Google’s Gmail is getting a makeover. It’s about some subtle changes that are being made. Users were previously shown the renewed Gmail app on their smartphone.

Google has equipped the web version with a new layout where the sidebar lets you quickly switch between your inbox, Chat, Spaces and Meet. You can also disable the apps in the sidebar. We also see some changes in the font and design. The new version also includes a better search bar that should show better suggestions. The update will now be activated for everyone.
