Lenovo wants to bring a new Android tablet to the market under the Motorola brand. According to initial information, it will be quite cheap, but this is also noticeable in the equipment. A pure Android without adjustments is to be expected.

Moto Tab 8: New, old Android tablet is coming

Coming soon under the name Moto Tab 8 new Android tablet towards us, which is actually not that new. According to preliminary reports, it is a relaunched Lenovo Tab M8 (FHD) from 2019, which differs from the original tablet only in the software. A pure version of Android 11 is to be expected here, i.e. without Lenovo’s own apps and adjustments.

That Moto Tab 8 with metal housing apparently has an LC display that has a diagonal of 8 inches and has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. For the processor, the MediaTek Helio P22T was again chosen, which is supported by 4 GB of RAM in the tablet. Those interested in permanent storage can choose between 32 and 64 GB. In addition to a WLAN variant, there should also be a mobile LTE version (source: 91Mobiles).

The capacity of the battery is from 5,000 mAh going out, the battery is charged via USB-C. On the back there is a single camera that allows pictures of up to 13 MP. Selfies are possible with 5 MP.

Moto Tab 8: Android tablet only in India

The Moto Tab 8 will initially be launched in India, where the October 1, 2021 targeted as a date. It is not yet clear whether and when the tablet will also be available in Europe. In India there is the tablet for the equivalent of 230 euros. Lenovo could further cement its strong position in tablets in Europe with the Moto Tab 8.
