Netflix is launching a TikTok clone
Netflix introduces Fast Laughs, the principle of this new feature works similar to TikTok.
TikTok lets you watch funny videos and easily scroll to the next video. The accessibility is so low that you can lose hours per day on the app if you are not careful. Netflix has copied this idea and implemented it in their own mobile app called Fast Laughs.
Fast Laughs shows content from Netflix in short clips of about a minute. It should make you curious about the series or movie so that you want to watch more. The service shows how Fast Laughs works in a demo video on YouTube. You will see some fragments of stand up comedy, among others. By the way, the undersigned did not get a smile from the example fragments, but that could also be me.
Netflix has rolled out Fast Laughs in select countries on iOS. It is therefore possible that you will not receive any of this on your smartphone. This may change at a later stage. For example, a rollout for Android is on the agenda of the American streaming service.
