Neither GTA VI nor BioShock 4 will present -apkrig at E3

Take-Two announced in May a year ago that it would be releasing 93 titles over the next five years. With simple mathematics, we get to less than twenty games a year, for which no major publisher would be ashamed, and on the contrary, they would undoubtedly fill various conferences and presentations with them. However, not Take-Two, which usually does not participate in trade fairs and presents its games within the framework of agreed partnerships at conferences of console manufacturers. That’s why we were also interested when we saw the Take-Two showcase in this year’s E3 program and were ready for an unexpected event, during which names like Max Payne, Civilization, XCOM, BioShock and of course Grand Theft Auto could fall under certain constellations. but we would not count on this year’s announcement. However, in the end, there will be no Take-Two presentation about the games – in the sense of specific titles and their eventual revelation. As moderator Geoff Keighley revealed in his stream, Take-Two wants to focus on the inclusion and diversity that speak into play and are important topics for Take-Two.

“I’m looking forward to the Take-Two presentation, but just to set expectations, the company will talk about inclusion and diversity in video games. This is not a conference where some games should be announced. You won’t get any GTAs or notifications from 2K, “said Keighley (approximately at 2:47:05 a.m.) and probably disappointed a lot of players. On the other hand, we consider his statement to be fair and it can be seen that a number of companies have recently preferred to reveal in advance what they will be talking about in general, rather than to be even more disappointed by unfulfilled expectations. In the case of Take-Two, however, a leak entered the speculation before E3, which we informed you about a week ago. Journalists such as Jason Schreier and Jeff Grubb called it credible, and the first point of the leak has already been confirmed – Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

This would mean that Take-Two and its studios are also working on Marvel-licensed XCOM and sci-fi, probably from the Hangar 13 team, the authors of the latest Mafia. Even more appropriate now is the statement of Jason Schreier, who confirmed the leak on his Twitter, but doubted that everyone should be talked about at this year’s E3. So everything is starting to fit together well and the players have no choice but to wait for the next conferences, or smaller events of individual branches of Take-Two, which will present their games during the year. As a reminder, the Take-Two family includes almost 30 of its own studios, the vast majority of which fall under the heading 2K Games, resp. Rockstar. In addition, Take-Two also relies on Ghost Stor Games, Nordeus and Playdots, and has also supplemented its publishing activities with the indie label Private Division.
