Naked on TikTok? A scam to fleece young men in heat!
TikTok often offers “challenges” to its users. We remember for example the “Corn cob challenge” where the participants had to eat a corn cob mounted on a drill (a job for the dentists) or the “skull breaker challenge” which, as its name suggests, charged the skull of many teenagers. In short, it’s rarely a good idea to participate in these dangerous “challenges”.
At the end of 2022, the “invisible challenge” is in fashion. The goal ? Use an “invisibility” filter that hides the skin and then undress or show a part of your body with the assurance that the spectators will not see anything. In this social network where buzz is the key word, many young women have posted videos where they show part of their body without really showing it.

Spoiler alert: it was a virus!
Not a bad challenge for once, but hackers had the good idea to use this phenomenon to trap users. L’story revealed by CheckMarx is edifying. These hackers made believe that they had the means to remove this filter and thus to give the possibility of really seeing the young girls naked. With a TikTok video that got over a million views in a very short time, they baited horny males whom they forwarded to a Discord server which itself forwarded to a GitHub containing the malware (what a surprise !). It was of course impossible to remove this filter and the whole maneuver was aimed at recovering as much data and passwords as possible on the victims: cryptocurrency wallets, bank account, PayPal, etc.
Than those who have never been victims of the malware Anna Kournikova cast the first stone…
Impossible of course to remove this “invisible” filter: you have to be very naive to believe it, but the fauna of TikTok is very young…
