Musk has ‘a bad feeling about the US’, President Biden responds

Elon Musk says he has a super bad feeling about the economy, to which the president of the United States reacted quickly.

Elon Musk says he has a “super bad feeling” about America’s state. President Joe Biden responded with a list of huge corporate investments and wished Musk good luck on his trip to the moon.

Elon Musk’s Bad Feeling About the Economy

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said this in an email to executives seen by Reuters. The email, titled “Pause all hiring worldwide,” was sent two days after Musk told staff to return to the workplace or leave. He also said he needs to cut about 10% of the workforce at his electric car company. This hit like a bomb.

Musk recently warned that America’s economy is already in a recession or on its way to a recession. However, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX believes a recession is “a good thing,” saying, “It’s been raining money on fools for too long. There have to be some bankruptcies.” He also estimated that the recession will last between 12 and 18 months.

To care

Elon Musk is not alone in this with his concerns about the economy. Other experts say similar things. Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas believes Musk’s concerns should be taken into account, explaining: Elon Musk has a uniquely informed understanding of the global economy. We believe that a message from him would have high credibility.

Biden tempers bad expectations, that’s his job too. He says, “Well, let me tell you, while Elon Musk is talking about that, Ford is overwhelmingly increasing their investment,” Biden said. “Ford is increasing its investment and building new electric vehicles with 6,000 new employees. Former Chrysler Corporation, Stellantis, is also making similar investments in electric vehicles. Intel will add 20,000 new jobs making computer chips,” the president continued. So he disagrees with Musk.
