Motorola Edge S30 is the cheapest mobile with Snapdragon 888+

In addition to the introduction of the flagship Motorola Edge X30 at a recent event, which boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, 144Hz panel or Android 12, we also saw a model Motorola Edge S30, which is a bit more modest, but it is still a very interesting phone. It is actually a Moto G200 without NFC and with a different superstructure and a different ultra-wide sensor.

The front of this model covers 6.8 ″ IPS LCD panel with Full HD + resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, which, however, can be reduced to 48 Hz if necessary. A 16Mpx selfie camera is hidden in the shot. On the back we find a 108Mpx main sensor along with a 13Mpx ultra wide camera and a 2Mpx depth sensor.

  • Android 11
  • 6,8″ 144Hz LCD HDR10 display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels
  • Qualcomm chipset Snapdragon 888+ 5G
  • memory variants 8/128 and 8/256 GB
  • cameras 108mpx main, 13mpx ultra wide, 2mpx deep (macrovision) and 16mpx front
  • 5000mAh battery with support for 33W charging
  • Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, Dolby Atmos

The extremely powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset, which helps with either 6, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, is still ticking under the hood. Unlike the X30 Edge, we will have to settle for Android 11. The endurance was taken care of by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. As for the price, we will pay CNY 1,999 for the basic version, which is about 7,000 crowns without tax. The Motorola Moto G200 sold by us is still sold at a very decent price CZK 11,499 and currently it is the cheapest mobile with Snapdragon 888+ in our country.
