Motorola Edge 30 Pro also gets a stylus

The stylus is completely back: Samsung has always believed in it, but more and more gadget makers are coming with it. The upcoming Motorola Edge 30 Pro would also be equipped with a stylus. With this, the phone is increasingly mentioned as a major competitor of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The well-known source Evan Blass posted some images and even a short video on his Twitter account where we see more of the new Motorola. The design of Motorola Edge 30 Pro is not very different from what we are used to from previous devices. He therefore seems to rely mainly on the accessories: the stylus, but also a new case where you can see a part of the screen, so that even if your phone is safely stored, you can still check whether WhatsApps have arrived and what time is it.

A probably very handy case, but the biggest news is the stylus. This ‘Smart Stylus’ will be a first for Motorola, as it has never added a stylus to its flagship (it has on other phones). This stylus is also a bit larger than we are used to, so it is expected that you cannot put it in your phone, which is the case with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The case does have space where the stylus can be placed.

Furthermore, there is little to make out from the leak about the upcoming phone or the applications of the stylus, although the video does show a few things. For example, it is still unknown when Motorola plans to announce the device. Renders have been posted before. This shows that Motorola provides its flagship with two 50 MP cameras and 68 Watt fast charging technology.
