Motorola comes with new Motorola Edge S with Snapdragon 870
Motorola has a new introduction planned for this month. The manufacturer will announce the new Motorola Edge S next week. What can we expect from this new device?
Motorola Edge S is on the way
Motorola is working on a new smartphone that should be announced on January 26. It would be the Motorola Edge S. Last year the Edge series was released by the manufacturer, consisting of the Motorola Edge and the Motorola Edge +. Unfortunately only the Edge came to the Netherlands. Now it is time for a third device, which is called Motorola Edge S.
We already wrote about the new Snapdragon 870 chipset on Wednesday. We will in any case see this processor from Qualcomm in devices from Motorola, Xiaomi and OnePlus, it became clear. The teaser for the Motorola Edge S confirms that ‘the S’ will also get this chipset. This processor is a powerful variant of the Snapdragon 865+, so the Moto Edge S will be a device with high-end specifications.
The Motorola Edge S is said to get a 6.7-inch Full-HD + OLED display, with a refresh rate of 105Hz. Furthermore, there is talk of a camera with a possible three lenses, but at least with a 64MP main lens. The smartphone would also be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. It is currently unknown whether the Motorola will also come to the Netherlands. We will hear all the details on January 26, 2021.
