Moss: Book II -apkrig is heading to PlayStation VR

Yesterday, at the State of Play, Studio Polyarc presented Moss: Book II, a sequel to VR Adventure, which debuted in 2018 and was gradually released on PlayStation VR, PC headsets and Oculus Quest standalone devices. In the sequel, we will look at new places, face new enemies and, above all, solve other insidious puzzles.

Quill knows that we are monitoring and advising her, and she will reflect this even more in her interaction.

The story is a direct follow-up to the first part, but the game should be accessible to complete novices, the developers promise. The main mouse heroine is again Quill, who has learned some new tricks. An emotional journey awaits her, on which players have to form a real bond with her. Although the story is linear, we will explore the world more freely and in some places we can get off the main road and discover it at our own pace, the team says.

The authors want Quill to look real, deepen the connection with the player. Quill knows that we are monitoring and advising her, and she will reflect this even more in her interaction. Although the authors did not want to reveal more, news is also expected in the field of sign communication. Would they find a new fingerprint driver? The game should also be longer and offer more stories.

According to the authors themselves, they were surprised by the response of the players to the first part and the number of positive reactions. The next chapter thus responds directly to the demand of fans. The first Moss is one of the best rated VR games ever, the studio recalls. Polyarc himself mentions that he is one of the few teams that is preparing to continue an existing game in virtual reality.

Moss: Book II doesn’t have a release date yet, but will probably be the first to head to PlayStation VR. And this is the first generation, because the game is to be controlled by DualShock 4. However, this does not exclude the possibility that a version for the new generation of PSVR is actually being prepared. After all, the trailer itself raises certain questions in this sense…
