More than 9 million euros for rare CryptoPunk monkey

This is CryptoPunk number #4156. The digital monkey is part of a series of 24 NFTs. The digital piece of art changed hands for 2,500 Ether. That is converted slightly more than 9 million euros. In one fell swoop, this transaction is known as one of the largest of its kind. NFTs are seen as a piece of investment, with the hope of a return on a future sale.
It is therefore the highlight within the highest transactions of the CryptoPunk NFTs. Other high-paying NFTs in the series went for $7.5 million, another 7.5 million, one over 6 million, and an NFT over $5 million. In short. Big business, these NFTs.
Immediately for sale again
The buyer of CryptoPunk number #4156 immediately put the NFT up for sale again. This anonymous person has therefore paid around 9 million euros for it. The NFT is for sale for just over 14 million euros.
