More beautiful, lighter and safer than ever before

Today, Xiaomi will present its flagship for 2021 – Mi 11. In addition to it, we also saw the introduction of a new version of the MIUI 12.5 superstructure. It comes in the so-called half of MIUI version 12. By this we mean half the period between MIUI 12 and MIUI 13. Xiaomi may have done this so that we do not have to wait long and impatiently for a new MIUI 13.

MIUI 12.5 will soon be on your smartphone

MIUI was presented in Beijing today on 12.5. This brings improved performance, better work with notifications, but also with a connected Windows computer. In addition, GSMArena mentions that the load on MIUI for hardware has been reduced.

Specifically, it is a matter of reducing the number of pre-installed Xiaomi applications to nine. Xiaomi compares to iOS, EMUI, Color OS and others, showing that their new MIUI contains fewer applications than the competition. Of course, Google applications were not counted.

MIUI 12.5

Xiaomi also dug the entire MIUI superstructure from scratch and reduced its load. MIUI 12.5 thus uses up to 20% less memory, has 25% lower battery consumption and the load on background applications has dropped by 35%.

The new version of the MIUI 12.5 superstructure will also receive one new Super Background with the highest peak from the Four Sisters Mountain, located in Sichuan, China. It will adapt to your time and weather. More similar possibilities are to be added to the system, for example, four types of tones that will come from different corners of the Earth.

MIUI 12.5

Xiaomi has also not forgotten about privacy and will allow better management of permissions for applications and will not store passwords or other sensitive information.
