more and more parents are combining work and travel

Working with a view of the beach or taking a dip after a meeting. Sounds like a dream, right? Many people (yes, parents too) choose to combine work and travel, according to research.

Fiverr and Lonely Planet asked 1,400 digital nomads – also known as ‘Anywhere Workers’ – about their family situation and why they moved abroad. What seems? People who combine work and travel often have one or more children.

I leave

Life as a digital nomad, which means that you work from at least two locations in one year, is therefore no longer just for young single people. Reasons for choosing a particular destination vary. For example, for 25 percent the chance of a job for their partner or fellow traveler(s) determines where they settle. Fourteen percent are looking for a location based on the educational facilities for their children.

More flexibility

Why do people choose to go abroad with their wealth? Almost half of them need more flexibility. More than a third have finished a nine-to-five job. Also, a large part of the digital nomads yearn for excitement and adventure. The fact that they work remotely does not mean that they work less. The vast majority of Anywhere Workers work full-time.
