PlayStation Plus Essential
PS Plus Essential offers you the following advantages:

What happens to your old subscription?
If you already have a PS Plus subscription and your term is still active when the Essential plan launches, you will automatically become a member of PS Plus Essential after the transition. The price of your membership will not change.
PlayStation Plus Extra
PlaystationPlus Extra offers you all the content of PS Plus Essential (listed above). In addition, you can expect the following benefit:
