You have to be careful if you start mining Ethereum with an NVIDIA GPU and don’t know what you’re doing. Malicious people make good use of this. Better than Nvidia itself would deliver from the factory. In reality it is malware.

The malware installs viruses on the computer you use to mine crypto. What it does exactly is not yet known, but Tom’s Hardware has found that it is very CPU intensive. The fact is, this junk is doing something in the background of your computer that you’re not going to be happy about. So stay far away from this application if you see it popping up somewhere. And do your homework well, it prevents a lot of misery.
