Microsoft about Game Pass, another event, VR and mini fridge -apkrig

Microsoft has announced that it wants to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Xbox with gamers. She scheduled a special broadcast on November 15. However, she warned that she would not announce any new games and it would be a celebration of the anniversary itself. We are expected to see more details about this event soon. The stream will begin at 6 p.m.

Sea of Thieves and the (in) success of the Game Pass

The American giant also boasted that 25 million players have already tried Sea of Thieves, and of course attracts others on this occasion. Microsoft also points out that the game achieved this success thanks to the fact that it is available to all Game Pass subscribers on consoles and PCs. If you join the game now, you can look forward to a bonus in the form of gold coins and doubloons. Twenty-five million pirates is a decent success for the game, which many critics have attributed to the rapid sinking.

Speaking of Game Pass, Microsoft revealed that the number of subscribers is not growing as fast as the company has imagined. Nevertheless, the number of members rose by 27.5 percent, according to financial results. Microsoft wanted to increase by 47.8%. It’s no wonder that Xbox has high expectations of the service, invests a lot of money in sounds and is constantly trying to expand the catalog of games, which often includes titles that we find in the Game Pass on the day of their release.

Mini refrigerators are gone and VR for Xbox won’t

As for the disappointment, not only Microsoft is sad, but also the fans who took a liking for the mini fridge in the shape of the Xbox Series X. The pre-orders launched sold out within a few minutes yesterday due to the dealers. And mini-refrigerators immediately began to appear on eBay, but significantly more expensive than the official $ 100. Additional pieces will be available, according to Microsoft, at the official launch in December.

And if you still don’t have enough of your Xbox, you might be interested to know that Phil Spencer mentioned at WSJ Tech Live that Microsoft still hasn’t finished acquiring game studios. On the other hand, the company does not rush into its own VR headset. Spencer appreciated what companies like Sony, Oculus VR or Valve have achieved in this field, but it is still true that we will probably not connect any of our own VR headsets to the Xbox.
