This is the fair leaks on the products and services of Meta. In a few hours, several pieces of information fell on the firm’s VR technologies in Zuckerberg, starting with the specifications of the VR headsets. Cambria and Meta Quest 3. Thus, the very informed Ming Chi Kuo affirms that the Meta Cambria, more commonly known as the “Quest for the pros”, will be available for sale during the second quarter of this year and should offer 2.48-inch Mini-LED screens with a resolution of 2160 × 2160 per eye (more than what was announced for the PSVR 2). Meta would expect sales of 3 million units in the first year.

As for the Meta Quest 3, the commercial launch is scheduled for next year, this time with uOLED (Micro Oled) screens that some sources announce at 2500 x 2500 per eye (i.e. a hybrid format very close to the 3.5 K in number of pixels displayed). The screens of the Meta Quest 3 are said to be manufactured by Changxin Technology. Meta would do everything possible to equip the Meta Quest 3 with a house processor equipped with a boosted GPU, but at worst, the device would have to integrate Qualcomm’s XR3 (between 2 and 3 Tflops expected).
