major update to One UI Watch 4.5 available

Samsung is rolling out a major update for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 in the Netherlands and Belgium. The smartwatch that was released last year will receive the update to One UI Watch 4.5, with a lot of improvements and new functions.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series models are updated with a new update. The update to One UI Watch 4.5 includes a lot of improvements and new features. From now on, the update will be rolled out in Belgium and the Netherlands. What will the update bring to the smartwatches?

The new update is approximately 900MB in size and brings One UI Watch 4.5. As mentioned, we see several improvements here. First of all, there is the new Play Store design on the smartwatch. This should be more pleasant to operate. There are six new watch faces, it is possible to set screens from the home screen as favorites and show them first and the camera controller has been improved. This allows you to quickly switch between taking a photo or making a video directly on the smartwatch.

Keyboard text input has also been improved with the One UI Watch 4.5 update. Users can enter text faster using gestures or the QWERTY keyboard, and we also see a new version of the scaled-down keyboard. With this update, Samsung also gives the Galaxy Watch 4 a more extensive alarm function with setting functions for date, alarm name and snooze, improves the connection with dual-SIM phones and comes with more settings such as adjusting the text size.
