Maiden of Black Water » Vortex

Today is the release of the survival horror remaster Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. The original game was released exclusively on the Wii U and debuted in 2014 in Japan. A year later, it also reached the West, but only through an improved version with modernized graphics and added photo mode, this partly unjustly neglected title is also extended to other platforms. This traditional Japanese horror, which was once blamed by many for its old-fashioned to archaic performance, does not suit everyone, and unfortunately the remaster did not even have the ambition to correct some of its earlier shortcomings. But if you really miss the traditional spooky games that dominated the PS2 era, you may find a liking to me, despite all the shortcomings. It was valid for over 6 years on the Wii U and it is still valid today. Due to the national holiday, we pre-recorded this video for you on Wednesday, so you will watch our playing from the recording. You will be able to watch the review in Monday’s vidcast.
