MacBook Air 2022 pre-order date announced: you can order Friday
Last month Apple presented a much improved MacBook Air, but we didn’t know more than that sales start in July. The date of the pre-order of the MacBook Air 2022 is now known. You can order this Friday, July 8th.

MacBook Air pre-order starts July 8
on friday july 8 is the updated MacBook Air 2022 from 2 p.m to order. This can be done via the Apple website or the Apple Store app. If you act quickly, you will probably have the MacBook Air at home on Friday 15 July at the earliest. From this moment on, the Air is also in the shops.
The MacBook Air is available in 2022 from 1519 euros. This is the cheapest version. However, you can still opt for more graphics power (a 10-core GPU instead of 8), more RAM and more SSD storage. As for the color, you can choose from Midnight (dark blue), Starlight (gold), silver and space gray.

The MacBook Air 2022 has a new design, which is very similar to the latest MacBook Pro models. At the top of the 13.6-inch screen is the distinctive notch. Apple has hidden an improved 1080p camera in it, so that you are a lot sharper during video calling
The new Air is the first with an M2 chip. According to Apple, it is 18 percent faster than its predecessor. The graphics chip has also been improved, allowing the machine to better handle tasks such as video editing and gaming. The M2 is also energy efficient. The screen is slightly larger (13.6 instead of 13.3 inches), but the battery life remains 18 hours when playing video.
MagSafe
Like the MacBook Pro 2021, the MacBook Air has received a MagSafe charging port. This is a magnetic cable that will detach itself if you accidentally run into it. Charging with USB-C is still possible. And faster than before, because the MacBook Air supports fast charging for the first time. For example, after 30 minutes of charging, the battery is 50 percent full.
