Long lines for new Huawei phone

Huawei hasn’t had an easy time surviving in the smartphone market since the US ban. However, the Chinese company never gave up and can celebrate successes every now and then. This is what happened with the recently introduced top smartphone Huawei Mate 50 Pro.

New Huawei smartphone causes long queues

Update from October 03, 2022: The Huawei cell phone is also coming to Germany:

Original item:

It is rare that people still queue in front of the shops for a new smartphone. This used to be absolutely normal with Apple products, but it has now become a real rarity as many prefer to order online and Apple has improved availability so that you don’t have to stand in front of the Apple Store for hours. For the Huawei Mate 50 Pro the wait is probably worth it again, as the boss himself shared on Weibo:

The market launch came right away long queues of people in front of several Huawei flagship stores in Chinawho wanted to secure one of the new top smartphones. The great interest in smartphones probably surprised Huawei itself, so that production now has to be accelerated and increased so that demand can be met. Huawei has been struggling with sharply falling sales figures lately. Being able to celebrate such a success again is definitely good for Huawei.

Huawei brings more products to Germany:

Huawei success limited to China

So far, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro has only been presented for China and can score there with functions such as a satellite connection, which is also available on the iPhone 14 Pro. However, some functions are missing, including a 5G modem. For this, Huawei has again received a special “Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1” processor from Qualcomm, which works with a 4G modem. However, without Google services, a 5G modem and other limitations, success will only be limited to China. In Europe, Huawei will continue to have problems. It will be exciting to see how the story develops further.
