KPN launches TV+; a new TV box with Android TV

Provider KPN introduces KPN TV+ as of today. Customers of the green-colored provider can use a set-top box with this new service, which is equipped with Android TV and therefore also offers a number of useful additions, such as Chromecast support.

When you take out a subscription with KPN, you can now opt for KPN TV+. The new option costs 3.50 euros extra per month and brings a series of new options to your television. When you choose this option, you get a set-top box, which is equipped with Android TV. The option for KPN TV+ can be found in the second step of the ordering process, although you can also choose to get the normal TV receiver.

The new set-top box with KPN TV is equipped with Android TV. This allows you to install and use different apps quickly and conveniently. Consider, for example, the many streaming services such as Netflix, Videoland or Disney +. However, with KPN TV+ you can also watch linear television directly, so that you can simply switch to channels such as RTL4 or NPO1. With the Bluetooth remote control you can easily search through TV channels or streaming apps for the right content. If you want to see a film, series or match that is not included in your television package, you can immediately activate a streaming subscription and also deactivate it (monthly). Incidentally, when choosing a KPN subscription, you can also opt for TV+ with the new set-top box at a later time.

The price for the KPN TV+ box is EUR 3.50 per month. This does not include access to the television channels. Then the price including the box is 12.50 euros per month.
