Kaufland will give something out by Wednesday: Apple users will be given gifts

If you go to Kaufland until Wednesday (February 23, 2022), you will receive gifts as an Apple user and get more than you thought. You get up to 15 euros free when you buy one of the popular credit cards for iTunes and App Store – a nice extra.

Update from 02/21/2022: There’s another one until 02/23/22 Extra credit when buying the well-known Apple credit cards from Kaufland. Graduated as usual, but unfortunately no longer a maximum of 20 percent like last year, but only a maximum of 15 percent. So if you want an extra 15 percent, you have to grab the big card. In detail:

  • Card with a credit of 25 euros: 1.25 euros extra (5 percent)
  • Card with 50 euros credit: 5 euros extra (10 percent)
  • Card with a credit of 100 euros: 15 euros extra (15 percent)

Important: You will receive the code for the extra credit on the receipt when you make the purchase, which must then be redeemed separately. So take good care of it and don’t throw it away lightly.

Original item:

Kaufland gives buyers of an Apple prepaid card (App Store and iTunes) additional credit between October 1st and October 7th. Of course, this is only useful for owners of an Apple device (iPhone, iPad Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV) or if you want to give presents to Apple users. In contrast to the action at Lidl, Kaufland offers up to 20 percent. However, this only applies to the large card worth 100 euros.

Apple credit cards: Kaufland is giving away up to 20 euros

The whole scale of the bonus values in the overview:

  • Purchase of a card with a credit of 25 euros: 2.50 euros extra (corresponds to 10 percent)
  • Purchase of a card with a credit of 50 euros: 7.50 euros extra (corresponds to 15 percent)
  • Buying a card with a credit of 100 euros: 20 euros extra (corresponds to 20 percent)

Ergo: If you buy a small card for 25 euros at Lidl, you currently get more (2.75 euros), with the medium-sized card the bonus is identical and with the 100-euro card there’s another 5 euros on top – Kaufland is then in to be preferred in any case.

Important: The bonus credit is not booked automatically, but must be redeemed separately. There is a code for this on the receipt. So don’t throw it away hastily, it’s worth real money.

This will also make Apple Music cheaper:

What can you buy with it?

You can then use the credit to buy apps in the App Store and Mac App Store. But it is not only intended for this purpose, it is also used in the iTunes Store, so music and films can be purchased more cheaply. Extra tip: Monthly subscription costs, for example for an iCloud storage plan or for Apple Music, can also be reduced with the Apple credit cards combined with the bonus credit. Only e-books are excluded. In Germany, they are subject to fixed book prices, but credit cards with a bonus would illegally undermine this principle. Therefore, e-books are excluded from purchase. What is also not possible: Buy hardware with it at a reduced price in the Apple Store.
