Jeff Bezos has a new sailboat
He is very rich and that is why Jeff Bezos wants to have a sailing boat to go on holiday with. The colossus is currently being built in the Netherlands.
Okay, these days Elon Musk is richer. But still Jeff Bezos doesn’t have to worry about money. Amazon’s founder is worth about $200 billion. If you have that much money, a sailboat is nice. And that’s how Bezos thought too and that’s why he has one made in our country.

If you do something, you have to do it right. That is why the Amazon founder has placed an order with the Dutch Oceanco for a sailboat of 127 meters in length. When the boat is finished, it will immediately be the largest sailing yacht in the world. The huge ship will have three masts and three decks. The Dutch yacht builder never talks about who places an order. It was the book that came out in May Amazon Unbound that announced this news. Now we also have images of the new ship.
Cost that?
Such a boat is quite expensive. The Daily Mail reports that Bezos will probably have to pay €430 million for his new acquisition. That’s not nothing, but Bezos shakes this out of his sleeve. In fact, he immediately ordered a second boat for ‘support’. That’s where the toys should come in, such as a helicopter and speedboats. This vessel is also made in the Netherlands at Damen Shipyards.
