It attracts with charging, but also with its price
Xiaomi’s latest smartphones have officially lost the Mi designation. Xiaomi 11T Pro is officially here and I had the opportunity to try it out before the official launch. All guesses were confirmed, the device came with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and also an extremely fast 120 W cable charging.

Xiaomi 11T Pro price and availability
The smartphone can be purchased through Xiaomi’s official sales channels in Slovakia from October 2021 from EUR 619 (8GB + 128GB) and from EUR 659 (8GB + 256GB).
The Xiaomi 11T Pro package includes a 120 W charger
The package contains a 120 W charging adapter, which is large and heavy. The supplied cable is terminated on one side with a classic large USB connector, the other side belongs to USB-C. 120 W charging can be used to the full without the need to purchase compatible accessories. For this, Xiaomi has a thumbs up for me.
The package also contains a basic protective cover, which will certainly suffice for undemanding users. From the back, the novelty captures the area of the camera.
There is a main lens with a resolution of 108 MP, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a macro lens with a resolution of 5 MP. Fortunately, it’s not just in numbers, and thanks to autofocus, it’s quite usable.

Basically, the technology uses the technology of combining 9 pixels into one, which creates photos with a resolution of 12 MP. However, it is also possible to take photos in the maximum resolution. I will enjoy very fast refocusing and I am also satisfied with the overall speed of the photo application. The video can be recorded in up to 8K resolution. You can find test photos in the photo gallery at the end of the article.
Xiaomi 11T Pro is not one of the lightest and smallest smartphones
The first thing that occurred to me when unpacking this phone was that it was really overgrown. It is heavy, rough and big. But in today’s world, this is nothing special. The display, which has a diagonal of 6.67 ″, is largely to blame. The frames around him are not the smallest, but they do not offend.
The back is very nice, so until you touch it. The glossy surface treatment ensures ubiquitous fingerprints. However, if you use the device with the cover like most users, you may not care. The hardware buttons are located on the right. There is a double volume control button and a power button located below it. It also houses a fingerprint sensor, which is fast enough and reliable. Some might argue that it should be on display, but personally it suits me better.
A nice display is the basis
I have positive impressions from the display. It is an OLED panel with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. By default, the 60 Hz mode has been activated, so for maximum experience, you need to enter the settings and select a higher frequency. It’s a pity that there is no automatic mode, which is becoming more common in smartphones. The battery would definitely thank you for that.
The colors are very nice, the viewing angles are already excellent as standard. Last but not least, the protective foil, which is applied to the display from the factory, will also please you. It looks like it’ll last for a few days. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with the MIUI extension in version 12.5.3. According to the GSMAren portal, the novelty should receive up to 3 major updates to the Android operating system and 4 years of security updates. In this respect, it could be compared to Samsung’s flagships.
“Thanks to the constant improvement of smartphone hardware, their lifespan is gradually being extended, which means that users do not have to change smartphones as often. That’s why more and more consumers are focusing on getting the latest operating system updates and features. Xiaomi is committed to providing users with superior hardware and long-term performance. As a result of this commitment, Xiaomi is extending the life of its smartphones by providing three generations of updates to the Android operating system. ”

Plenty of power and extra fast charging
The performance is seamless thanks to the powerful processor and the use of the phone is very pleasant. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh, I can’t comment on the endurance yet due to the short use. However, I tested the charging speed. The device charged from 0 to 100% in an incredible 19 minutes.
The sound quality is to be ensured by cooperation with Harman Kardon. There are two speakers. One at the top, the other at the bottom. Their quality is very good, the maximum volume is decent, even the more demanding user will be satisfied. The lower speaker plays much louder than the upper speaker, but fortunately it didn’t hurt the stereo effect when watching videos. In terms of sound quality, they both play equally well.
