There is only one game series in the world that can deliver such hype as GTA. It has been speculated on for years. And then we are talking about the latest part, Grand Theft Auto 6. After GTA 5 in 2013, it is eerily quiet around the latest title. Everyone knows that this is in development, but how is the progress?
Take Two and Rockstar Games are tight-lipped. They don’t even say anything about the existence of GTA 6. Yet we now have a look behind the scenes through an insider. At least that’s what Chris Liberty of the French Rockstar Mag reports. Based on sources, he says that GTA 6 is in complete chaos of development. That sounds serious.
He also says that GTA 6 is the most chaotic project Rockstar has ever been involved in. And that doesn’t even sound that crazy. We are eight years after the release of GTA 5. Normally we would have heard about a successor around this time. None of that. There is a good chance that GTA 6 has suffered a huge delay. These are assumptions, we have to say that.
In fact, it would be so serious that Rockstar has already adapted the storyline of GTA 6 several times since 2019, according to Liberty. GTA 5 was the most complex part of the series to date. With three storylines set in parallel in Los Santos. Of course Rockstar wants to go even further with the sixth part. But is this at the expense of development? It kinda looks like it.
